  1. 73 – Duncan, Susan – – 1976 I was an Exchange student to Japan, and my exchange was a Japanese girl, Noriko Nakashima Have been back to Japan four times, although the last was ten years ago to attend their 125 year school reunion. Am now in Queensland, self employed with a retail jewellery store. Not married, but in a very long relationship with a wonderful man.

73 – Chaffey, Ian – – Manage Engineering Dept for a company that manufactures pressure and temperature measuring equipment for food, petrochem industry.

73 – Falconer, Michael – – I have fond memories of my Grandfather Ed Visser working at the school. I also have good memories of the kindness of teachers such as Frank Kitchen and the friendship of my classmates. I have been working in the IT industry since 1980. I have a small company, Lynx IT, which employs 20 people http://www.lynxit.com.au

73 – Evans, Debbie – Marks – My fond memories are of my friends that I still have contact with and of the Genesis 39 play we did. I have a program for that I will be happy to bring down to reunion. Mrs Booth will always have a fond place in my heart; I still hold my shoulders square and often tell my own daughters how to square their shoulders, just as Mrs Booth taught us girls during gym time.

73 – Mort, Neil – – Exchange student from Canada. I will always remember the wonderful genuine people and the warm hospitality that I experienced in Numurkah. I have fond memories of the field trips to the Mountains in Form 5 and a trip with Form 6 students to Melbourne with teacher Richard Schmidt. After returning to Canada I studiied at Uni of BC, then travelled for a couple of years. I now work in the student service area with a university in Vancouver. I am married with three wonderful kids.

73 – Williams, Ashley – – Left school in 1977 and completed a Fitting & Machining Apprenticeship at Powles’ Engineering, Numurkah. Married Theresa in 1980 and over the next 10 years we had 6 children. I now run the family farm, and have bought a neighbour’s farm. We also run a hay contracting business and grow lucerne, as well as milking 150 cows.

73 – Tuttle, Louise – Francis – After my education I became involved in tourist activities, hot air ballooning, overseas travelling. My employment has been mainly in administration with in the medical field. I am currently employed with Grampians Community Health Centre in Ararat.

73 – Sprunt, Diane – – Sports Days. Interschool basketball with H. Lunch times @ tech wing.

73 – Wallace, Cathie – Eddy – Sports days, school camps – Anglesea and Howman’s Gap. Schoo socials – dressing for the theme. Lunctimes spent tanning our legs on the oval. Basketball games on asphalt courst with “Harro”, “Pete” and “Huss” coaching.

73 – Billingham, Lynette – Prince – My family and relatives all went to school here. Married, moved to Mackay then to the Coal Mining town of Moranbah then back to Mackay. Owned craft business, sold Real Estate. Bought up 6 kids between us and have 3 grandchildren All are healthy. Love life.

    73 – Menadue, Trevor – – OIC – Cobar Weather Station

73 – Massaioli, Mirta – McInerney – One of the funniest and scariest times was when all the boys sitting either sides of Sandra McAllister and me, where pen spitting, and after getting in the firing line and the teacher ignoring it for over ten minutes, i finally decided to retaliate and got the teacher attention. She promptly sent us to Mr Harrison for the cane. When we got there, he asked if i was there to make sure the boys got the cane, and when i said no, i was there to receive it too, he told all of us to be thankful that I was there, and go back to class pretending that we had received it. I think the boys were very nice to me after that, at least for ten minutes. No body in class could believe that Mr Harrison would hit me.

73 – McAllister, Sandra – – FondMemories: Fun at school. Got finger caught in lathe when tech block first opened, over night stay in hospital.Mr. Harrison asked about it at the recent Invergordon reunion, a thoughtful teacher to have remebered.

73 – Lowe, Sandra – Hommes – Great friendships made. Camps were fantastic. Sports days a favourit. Most teachers remember fondly. Since leaving attended RMIT (city) and completed a Diploma of Applie Science (medical Radiography). Have worked in a private practise in Sheppartong since 1982 (and I am still there nearly 25 years later!). Completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Ultrasound in 1998 which makes me currently an accredited sonographer.

73 – Gumbys, Carol – Kilner – I enjoyed being part of “Godspell” Nothing too special, had a lot of fun before getting married (recently separated). 2 beautiful kids (Tarryn (Yr 11) & Alex (Yr 9) at Drouin Sec College. I am currently a part time business manager and integration aide at a primary school here in Drouin West Primary in Gippsland.
