69 – Houlihan, Ann – Simons – Congratulations Numurkah Secondary College on the 50th Year Reunion! I transferred from the local catholic school to NHS commencing in form 3 and came from a small group of 5 girls to a whole new world of girl power. Met some amazing individuals with awesome personalities. Sport and music were my main interests back then and are still very much a part of my life today. I worked within the music industry in my early years of leaving school – at CBS (now Sony Music) and WEA records. I moved on and spent 7 years at the Victoria Racing Club – took time out when my daughter was born – after which I took on a position at The University of Melbourne – Hawthorn English Language Centre – where you can still find me today.

Been Head-teacher/Principal of some rural schools. Been principal in a few larger schools in recent years, including current position at Numurkah PS.

69 – Cleary, Merilyn – – Went to Bendigo Teachers College, dropped out after 2 years. Got married, had kids. Had successful business with husband. Got divorced. Went back to school and did accounting. Still working as tax accountant.

69 – Cowan, Faye – Holmes – I Really enjoyed all my secondary education. Enjoyed the school socials, camps in to Howmans Gap and Lake Nillacootee. Also in Year 11 we were the first group to do a mini musical after seeing ‘Godspell’ in Melb. In Form 12 we had a full production with ‘Joseph and his Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat’. Rob Elliot and Frank Kitchen co-ordinated it all and we had a fantastic time. Also in Form 12 i was very honored to be elected as School Captain. A role I will especially treasure for life
