  1. Mitchell, Marie – – Enjoyed secondary school. Miss Hossack(Harriet) was the French teacher and she used to take a group of senior kids home with her to her flat at lunchtime and talk about her travels, art.etc. She seemed so wise, but was a tough teacher.I can still remember what she looked like after all these years.(Would never happen now!) Went on to Teachers’ College and spent quite a few years in the job in the Portland area in SW Victoria.Loved those years. Retired to Numurkah in 2005, especially for the weather.

  2. McCluskey, Neville – performing in the marionette theatre, moving to the new buildings in 1956 with only a store as our home room.Won a Commonwaelth Scholarship and trained to teach, taught in T.P.N.G. for 17 years, after they gained Independance taught in the Northern Territory until I retired

  3. Saxton, Robert bob – – Teacher (Secondary Science). Many fond memories, but the excursion to the Olympic Games is right up there. Since leaving school, I worked for 23 years in RAAF (in the radio engineering branch). Tertiary studies in Geology and then research work at Newcastle university. Secondary Science teacher at Condobolin HS and then Kurri Kurri HS (where I am now a temporary teacher).

  4. Gread, Joy – Hutchins – I loved School! Teachers were real role models. I remember the Queen’s visit to Shepparton. Fond memories of the Choir (Miss Burt). On leaving School in 1954 I joined ANZ Bank for 6 years. I married and had 2 children. In 1978 re-joined workforce as Library Assistant at Nathalia Secondary College for 24 years, retired in 2002. I am involved with many Community activities. I have 5 Grandsons. Have been married for 44 years to a nice Nathalia Boy!

  5. Twitt, Adrian – In 1956, the school was under construction on Tocumwal Road. It was very wet and the useable classrooms were surrounded by water for weeks. We wore gumboots to school until ramps were built across the water. I was hoping to be at the reunion, but now have a wedding to attend at Colbinabbin and it is all becoming too difficult. I shall have to miss the reunion.

  6. Raco, Vincent – – Travelling on the school bus with Till Eldridge, our driver, many laughts. Attended old school, great class frieds and teachers. Played in the senior football team. Workied in the ANZ Bank, Mogg Peat and Co., PJ Bourke & Co., and retired in 2003.

  7. Ratcliffe, Lynette – Harrison – We had great teachers who were very considerate. Great times on the school bus from Cobram, did all our homework then. Great choir with Mr Tyrell & Miss Moore (now Joan Guymer). Great years to look back on.
